Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is conducting market research for the supply and delivery of turf-type tall fescue seed, granular fertilizer, and liquid pre-emergent herbicide for approximately 272 acres of turfgrass at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The requirement includes approximately 102.5 gallons of liquid pre-emergent herbicide containing 24% dithiopyr; two deliveries of approximately 1,185 50-pound bags of 20-5-20 granular fertilizer, each containing at least 50% slow-release nitrogen and sulfate of potash; and approximately 1,614 50-pound bags of a four-seed turf-type tall fescue blend. This is a sources-sought announcement only, not a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. Respondents are encouraged to submit a capability statement, relevant experience and technical expertise, business classification, applicable federal contract vehicles, feedback on the stated characteristics, questions, and sample pricing. Products must comply with applicable Missouri labeling, licensing, pesticide, fertilizer, and seed regulations. Delivery dates will be coordinated after award, with anticipated deliveries in February, March, and September; delivery is FOB destination and must be coordinated to avoid disrupting cemetery operations.
