Description
The contractor will provide on-site mental health care for students at Pine Ridge Job Corps Center, including applicant file reviews, intake and mental health assessments, treatment planning, short-term therapy, crisis intervention, referrals, chronic-care and medication-management coordination, and documentation in student health records. The work also includes mental health promotion and education, student and staff training, psychoeducational groups, disability-accommodation support, coordination with center personnel and other healthcare providers, and monthly utilization reporting. The solicitation requires a qualified independent practitioner with an active, unrestricted license to practice in the state where services are provided, at least one year of experience providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults, Department of Labor approval, and insurance coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate. Services are expected to be provided on site for approximately 20 hours per week, with a base year and four option years listed in the schedule; the solicitation also states that the total duration will not exceed one year, creating an apparent inconsistency that should be clarified.
