Description
The City of Rapid City is requesting professional engineering services for a future North Rapid Reservoir at Elk Vale Road. The project is anticipated to include a first-phase reservoir of approximately 1.5 million gallons, evaluation of reservoir type and future expansion, operational changes to the Shepherd Hills Booster Station, and design of a transmission main connecting to the concurrent East Anamosa Street Extension project. The scope is organized into preliminary design, final design, bidding, basic construction, and expanded construction services. Required work may include surveying, utility coordination, geotechnical and design reports, plans and specifications, permitting, easement acquisition, bidding support, construction administration, inspection, testing, closeout, and warranty-period services. The City may negotiate and award some or all task groups. Proposals must address the firm's technical, management, inspection, experience, and project-team capabilities; a current certificate of insurance and a signed debarment and suspension certification are also required.
