The Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to reconstruct Grizzly Bear Campground in the Black Hills National Forest. The work includes demolition and reconstruction of campground roads, accessible camping spurs and living areas, host and volunteer sites, gates, signage, and related site, grading, erosion-control, and revegetation work. Historic stone structures, a bridge, and other designated resources must be protected. The project also includes demolition and replacement of the campground water system, including a new pumphouse or treatment building, underground 3,000-gallon water storage tank, water distribution piping, hydrants, disinfection equipment, wastewater vaults and connections, electrical service and campground electrical improvements, a new double toilet building, and improvements to existing toilet buildings. Offerors must price every schedule item and submit a technical approach, past-performance information, the completed schedule of items, acknowledgment of amendments if applicable, a bid guarantee for offers over $150,000, and a signed Standard Form 1442.
