Description
The University of Michigan seeks a supplier to collaborate with its research team and clinical experts on developing and testing a rhythm-based digital game for children ages 8–12 who stutter. The iPad game must include speech and nonspeech rhythm activities, progressive difficulty levels, performance-based adjustments, and research data-collection capabilities. It must support gameplay of at least 30 minutes per day, three to five days per week, for six weeks, and be refined through iterative testing and participant feedback. The work includes specialized game development, speech technology, software development, research support, accessibility, privacy, security, and compliance with applicable University and institutional review requirements. Proposals must address the solution, staffing, project execution, cybersecurity, accessibility, pricing, references, and related supplier qualifications. The anticipated agreement is for five years, with project start scheduled for November 1, 2026.
