Description
The City seeks a vendor to supply bulk liquid carbon dioxide for swimming pool pH regulation at eight facilities. The scope includes providing, installing, and maintaining insulated cryogenic storage tanks equipped with wireless telemetry, safety relief valves, leak detection, and outdoor venting. CO2 must be at least 99.5% pure and meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60 requirements for water treatment. The vendor must provide automated delivery scheduling, annual testing of regulators, valves, and safety shutoffs, and 24/7 emergency repair service with a maximum four-hour on-site response time. Proposals must include proof of NSF/ANSI 60 certification, at least three references from similarly sized commercial or municipal pool facilities, pricing for gas, tank rental, telemetry, delivery, emergency service, and installation, and descriptions of delivery logistics and the closest dispatch or filling terminal. Evaluation weights are 60% total cost, 20% reliability and supply-hub proximity, and 20% vendor experience, safety record, and references.
