Description
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is seeking approximately 975,000 dry pounds of anhydrous ferric chloride in aqueous solution for enhanced precipitation of soluble phosphorus at three wastewater treatment facilities. The estimated quantities are 90,000 dry pounds for Easterly, 395,000 for Southerly, 105,000 for Southerly CEHRT, and 385,000 for Westerly. The quantities are estimates and may vary with operational needs. The product must meet specified concentration, purity, and mercury limits, be newly manufactured and in current production, and be compatible with the existing facilities. Bidders must provide product-specification verification, technical and safety data sheets, the solution-percentage range, and delivery lead time. Deliveries are to be made in tanker trucks, generally within five days after an order, with certificates of analysis accompanying each delivery. The requirement contract is for 12 months or until appropriated funds are exhausted.
