Description
The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, is soliciting bids for 42 sets of Fire-Dex Fire Investigator Turnout Gear consisting of coats and pants. This is a no-substitute procurement requiring the specified product and configuration, including TECGEN51 outer shells, CrossTech SR liners, ScotchLite trim, firearm-access openings, reinforced elbows and knees, specialized pockets, suspenders, belts, and custom “PSP” and “FIRE INVESTIGATOR” lettering. The gear includes a factory warranty against defects. Because the procurement involves apparel, the bidder must submit the required worker-protection certification and manufacturing/laundering-facility information. A non-OEM offeror must also provide a manufacturer authorization letter referencing IFB 6100066587. The procurement is for an established-price contract with estimated quantities, and the Commonwealth may increase or decrease quantities based on actual requirements.
