Description
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Division of Industries (Corcraft), is soliciting bids for tubular rib knit fabric, sweatshirt fleece, twill shirting, and twill suiting. The Q&A clarifies that no flat rib knit is solicited; Lot I and Lot II may be awarded independently; bidders may submit for either lot; and all dyeing and finishing must be performed within the United States, with both the manufacturing mill and domestic finishing mill disclosed. Twill suiting has a separate specification requiring 65%/35% polyester/cotton content, 61-inch minimum cutable width, 7.5–8.0 ounces per square yard, specified weave and strength requirements, and maximum 3% shrinkage. For each item offered, bidders must submit three linear yards per item, along with applicable ASTM certification, AATCC Certificate of Conformity, and color test reports. Samples must arrive by close of business on September 15, 2026, or the bid will not be considered. All items have a 45-day guaranteed delivery requirement. The contract includes a 140,000-yard Lot II inventory requirement at contract start, held at the contractor’s facility and counted within estimated annual quantities. The contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, pending OSC approval, with renewal options.
