Description
The Nevada State Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health and related agencies, seeks proposals for comprehensive food services at multiple behavioral-health and residential facilities. The awarded vendor(s) will prepare and distribute three meals daily, plus snacks at designated facilities, with approximately 445,000 meals and 445,000 snacks anticipated annually, along with raw snack foods and additional meals as programs expand. The scope includes menu planning, purchasing, food production, therapeutic and texture-modified diets, National School Lunch and related program compliance, meal distribution, quality assurance, staffing, training, sanitation, pest control, inventory, reporting, delivery vehicles, and maintenance and repair of agency kitchen facilities and equipment. Vendors must provide a sample diet manual, food preparation and transportation plan, startup plan, organization chart, productivity and staffing plan, and other technical and cost information. A vendor representative must attend the scheduled site visit to qualify to submit a response.
