Description
West Bonner County School District #83 is soliciting proposals for snow and ice removal at all District facilities during the 2026–27 school year. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, fuel, materials, and supervision for plowing parking lots, driveways, and access roads; clearing ADA parking spaces and access routes; clearing building entrances, exits, and emergency access areas; and returning as needed during continuing snowfall. Contractors must respond promptly to weather events, operate and maintain equipment safely, and avoid damage to District property. Proposals may use the contractor’s own pricing structure or include an additional option triggered when the District determines that accumulated snowfall has reached two inches. Proposals must describe the services, pricing, available equipment and personnel, anticipated response time, proof of insurance, and any proposed terms. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, general aggregate liability, workers’ compensation as required by Idaho, and employers’ liability coverage. The District will consider experience, reliability, equipment, response time, references, pricing, and overall value, and is not required to select the lowest-priced proposal.
