Description

Corpus Christi Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a districtwide next-generation firewall solution. The proposed solution must be a physical high-availability pair supporting North/South and East/West traffic, with minimum firewall throughput of 100 Gbps and SSL/TLS decryption, application-based policies, intrusion prevention, URL filtering, VPN, malware and zero-day protection, advanced monitoring and analytics, reporting, and integration with the District’s SIEM or log-management platform. The District also requests options for software-defined or virtual firewall capabilities for its data center and servers. The scope includes equipment, software and licenses, installation, configuration, migration of existing firewall rules, project management, testing, documentation, training for up to four employees, five years of support and maintenance, 24/7 telephone support, and on-site support within 24 hours of request. Proposals must include technical and pricing responses, completed worksheets, product specification sheets and white papers, experience information, management and technical approach plans, HUB certification documentation, and required signed certifications and addenda. The contract has a three-year initial term beginning July 1, 2027, with two three-year renewal options.
