Description
This opportunity is for subcontractors to bid on the Lake CI Modernization Project, managed by Ajax Building Company LLC on behalf of the State of Florida Department of Corrections. The project is located at Lake CI, 19225 US 27, Clermont, FL 34715, with an estimated overall construction budget of $130,000,000.00. Bidding will be conducted in groups, with Bid Group #2 including Survey, Testing Laboratories Services, CIP Concrete, Masonry, Metals, Non-Security Doors, Frames & Hardware, Detention Equipment & Furnishings, and Ext. Improvements (Security Fence). Bid Group #3 includes Roofing, Metal Panels, Non-Security Glass & Glazing, Drywall, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Communications, and Security Electronic systems. Bid Group #4 covers Final Cleaning, Wood, Plastics and Composites, Waterproofing, Applied Fireproofing, Overhead Door, Non-Security Acoustical Ceilings & Wall Panels, Wood Flooring, Carpet & Resilient Flooring, Painting, Resinous Flooring, Access Flooring, Miscellaneous Equipment (Specialties), Appliances, and Window Treatments. Bid Group #5 is for Warehouse. Pre-qualification forms and instructions are available on Ajax's website. Pre-bid meetings will be held via Video Call (TEAMS) on May 20, 2026, for Bid Groups #2, #3, and #4. Site visits will be scheduled during the pre-bid conference. Bid opening dates are staggered from June 3-5, 2026, at Ajax's Offices.
