Description
The Clerk of the Court and Comptroller of Miami-Dade County seeks one new Formax FD 8906CC industrial shredder with an output conveyor, or an approved equivalent. The awarded contractor must furnish and deliver the equipment, unload and position it, install and test it on site, provide OEM-approved lubricating oil, remove installation debris, and supply the user, installation, maintenance, spare-parts, warranty, and compliance documentation. The shredder must support continuous-feed conveyor operation, crosscut or equivalent P-3 security, a minimum capacity of 400 sheets per pass, automatic lubrication and start/stop functions, jam clearing, required safety features, and operation on 220V three-phase, 60Hz, 50A electrical service. It must shred paper, cardboard, tapes, CDs, magnetic disks, staples, paper clips, credit cards, and similar materials. The contractor must provide manufacturer-authorized installation technicians, on-site training for Clerk personnel, at least one year of parts and machine warranty coverage, warranty support, and customer service. After the initial warranty period, the contractor must make OEM-authorized or properly trained technicians available for as-needed on-site maintenance and repair during business hours, with parts billed at cost. Exact-brand bidders must provide OEM authorization documentation; bidders offering an equivalent must provide the manufacturer and model, technical specifications, user manual, Declaration of Conformity, and verifiable OEM authorization documentation. Pricing is requested for the shredder and conveyor, OEM-approved lubricating oil, and hourly post-warranty maintenance and repair services.
