Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a single five-year, firm-fixed-price IDIQ supply contract with prepriced ELINs for overhaul of MK 41 Vertical Launch System cell and uptake hatches. The contractor will pick up hatches, perform assessment, disassembly, cleaning and decontamination, inspection and nondestructive testing, surface preparation and coating, reassembly, quality control, preservation, and return delivery. Work will be performed at the contractor's facility, with pickup and return to Naval Station Mayport. The contractor's overhaul site and personnel must hold the applicable MK 41 VLS cell-hatch and uptake-hatch certifications issued through the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme certification programs. Personnel must also have NACE or SSPC/NBPI corrosion-control training, and the contractor must maintain ISO 9001-series quality management. The proposal must include pricing for all five ordering periods, past-performance information, organizational and quality documentation, required certifications, qualified welder and silverbrazer lists, certified NDT inspector information, and a standard operating procedure demonstrating compliance with NAVSEA Standard Item 009-012.
