Description
The City of Altamonte Springs is soliciting transportation services using 47- to 55-passenger charter buses, ADA-accessible 45-passenger buses with wheelchair lifts, and 25-passenger minibuses. Services include local, regional, and extended-mileage charter trips; round-trip transfers; shuttle service; additional stops; and trips for field programs, senior programs, ADA participants, special-needs programs, and special events. Vehicles must include required accessibility, safety, communication, comfort, and restroom features where specified, and all services must be provided with properly licensed and qualified drivers. The contractor must provide vehicle and personnel information, drug and alcohol testing program documentation, background-screening compliance, project experience with at least five similar completed projects and references, subcontractor information, E-Verify documentation, tax and corporate registration records, a signed W-9, and insurance documentation or evidence that required coverage can be obtained. The contract is for one year with up to four additional one-year renewals, for a maximum duration of five years. Subcontracting is permitted, subject to City approval and a maximum of 49% of the total contract value.
