Description
Palm Beach County is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors under its Annual Contract for Minor Construction Services. The project requires removal and replacement of existing landscaping along Okeechobee Boulevard, construction of a new East Courtyard and walkway with pavers, and provision of all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, permits, transportation, professional services, drawings, and related work. The contractor must complete the work within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, perform work generally between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, obtain required permits, submit products and installation methods for approval, protect the public and facility occupants, and provide a 12-month warranty. A mandatory 25% SBE participation goal applies, with waiver procedures available for documented good-faith efforts. A bid security of at least 5% is required when the bid is $200,000 or more; a 100% public construction bond is required before execution of a qualifying Work Order.
