Description
The U.S. Army is seeking capable sources for ready-mix concrete meeting 3,000- and 4,000-psi, 3-inch-slump specifications. The anticipated requirement is approximately 14 cubic yards per order, with estimated deliveries of one to three units per week; individual orders may range from 4 cubic yards up to $3,000 in material value. Deliveries must include all associated costs and occur during normal installation hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, with at least one working day's notice. Respondents must demonstrate that the concrete is qualified and complies with applicable industry standards, including the ability to provide concrete during winter conditions using hot water and sodium when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Responses should address organizational and staff capabilities, supporting qualification documentation, and any anticipated subcontracting or teaming arrangements. This is a sources-sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposals; no contract award is being made through this notice.
