Description
The 910 OSS Aircrew Flight Equipment Section requires replacement of two aging mobile track storage systems in Buildings 407 and 413 at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station. The contractor must provide design and project management, procure and deliver commercial mobile carriage systems or comparable equipment, install the systems during normal business hours, dismantle and dispose of the existing Spacesaver units, and provide dumpsters and a forklift for the work. Floor repair is excluded from the scope, and installation subcontracting is permitted. The revised requirements specify approximately four carriages for Building 413 and five carriages for Building 407, with 48-inch-wide units, 24-inch shelving on each side, approximately 96-inch overall height, 88-inch shelving height, lockable keyed-alike end lockers, mechanical wheels on mobile carriages, custom-fit shelving, steel end panels, and a minimum 48-inch access aisle. The systems must include non-slip vinyl or marine-grade flooring and fire-department-required metal number signs. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest-price technically acceptable offeror.
