Description
The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration is accepting applications from only the organizations identified in Appendix I of the guidance letter for FY 2026 Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending grants. Applicants must propose projects aligned with their congressionally approved project descriptions and use funds for direct employment and training services or workforce-program development that provides a public benefit. Eligible activities may include training, employment services, supportive services, apprenticeships, equipment, supplies, tuition, stipends, technology, and related workforce-development activities, depending on the approved project description. The program provides an estimated $95,501,000 across 108 awards, with individual awards ranging from $50,000 to $5,320,000. Applications must include federal application and budget forms, a budget narrative, project abstract, project narrative, work plan, organizational chart, performance measures and target goals, financial system risk assessment, and applicable letters of commitment, equipment prior-approval request, and NICRA or cost-allocation documentation. The project abstract and narrative have specified page and formatting limits. Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov; paper, email, and fax submissions are not accepted.
