Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor to completely rebuild a Byron Jackson Model 35 PMR, one-stage vertical-flow trickling filter pump. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, bead blasting, inspection, machining, balancing, painting, and replacement of bearings, wear rings, gaskets, fasteners, fittings, hardware, and other components that do not meet OEM specifications. The contractor must provide new components to OEM specifications or equivalent, transport the pump to and from the rebuild facility, and provide all required tools, rigging, safety equipment, and transportation. The contractor must deliver and rig the rebuilt pump for installation, perform pump-to-motor balance alignment, support startup, provide balance and shaft run-out reports, and furnish a signed startup checklist. The rebuild includes a one-year parts-and-labor warranty after pump startup, including troubleshooting, travel, and removal and reinstallation costs when necessary. Bid questions must be submitted through the bid event's Questions tab. The bid requires electronic submission of specified forms and attachments, including bid security, an Employee Classification Act affidavit, Responsible Contractor Compliance Form, SEB Participation Disclosure Form, Certificate of Insurance, and warranty information.
