Description
The Town of Davie Utilities Department is soliciting bids for the as-needed supply and delivery of chemical reagents and laboratory consumables used to test drinking water, wastewater, and reclaimed water. The bid includes titrants, buffers, indicators, standards, acids, deionized water, chlorine-testing products, filtration products, microbiological testing supplies, and related laboratory consumables. The estimated annual budget is $35,000. Deliveries generally must occur within five business days of an order, or within 24 hours for emergent requirements. Bidders must provide product information, including manufacturer brochures or Safety Data Sheets, a manufacturer inspection/test certificate, and a guarantee or warranty certificate confirming conformity with the specifications. Bidders must identify applicable licenses and certifications, provide at least three similar client references, and submit required business, insurance, tax, and compliance documentation. The initial contract term is two years, with two additional two-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement. The Town may award by item, group, or in the aggregate, and participating cooperative agencies may place their own orders under the resulting contract. Addendum No. 3 clarifies that the bid form's extended cost equals the unit cost multiplied by the requested quantity.
