The Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking quotes from qualified consultants to establish and maintain its accounting operations. The scope includes configuring QuickBooks; establishing the chart of accounts, beginning balances, bank accounts, projects, revenues, expenditures, and financial reporting structure; providing general ledger review, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable assistance, payroll support, bank reconciliations, and financial transaction review. The consultant will also support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting; budget-to-actual reporting; fiscal year-end closing; audit schedules, adjusting entries, reconciliations, and auditor requests; internal-control and segregation-of-duties recommendations; QuickBooks training and technical assistance for CRA and City staff; attendance at meetings as needed; and professional accounting and financial advisory services on an as-needed basis. The consultant will coordinate with CRA management, City Finance staff, external auditors, and other designated representatives.
