Description
The Town of Davie is seeking a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory meeting National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program standards to support a direct potable reuse pilot. The contractor must provide sampling bottles, monthly bottle drop-off and sample pickup, analysis of a broad range of drinking-water, wastewater, radiological, microbiological, organic, inorganic, PFAS, nitrosamine, and other specified analytes, and reporting of results. The laboratory must coordinate sampling dates with Town staff and the pilot consultant, Carollo Engineers, Inc.; provide standard-analyte results within 14 days; report monthly results in Excel/CSV workbook and PDF formats; and notify the Town within 24 hours if testing cannot be performed. The bid form contains approximately 515 line items, each priced per one-time analyte analysis, plus a subcontracted-laboratory markup not exceeding 10 percent. Subcontracted laboratories may be used for specialized analytes, but all applicable laboratory certifications must be submitted with the bid. The initial contract runs from execution through August 15, 2029, and may be extended for up to two years beyond expiration at the Town's request.
