Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Highways District Ten, is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of guardrail components. The requested quantities are 540 linear feet of 13-foot-6-inch straight guardrail panels, 50 terminal section buffer ends, 50 six-foot steel guardrail posts, 500 one-and-one-quarter-inch bolts, 500 nine-and-three-eighths-inch bolts, and 1,000 guardrail nuts. Items must comply with applicable West Virginia Department of Transportation Division of Highways standard details and 2023 Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges. Guardrail elements, buffer ends, posts, bolts, and nuts must come from a West Virginia Division of Highways-approved guardrail producer or supplier. Delivery is required within five working days after receipt of a purchase order or notice to proceed. The contract will be awarded to the vendor offering compliant items at the lowest overall total cost.
