The Virginia Department of Corrections is soliciting bids for a commercial tortilla production system for Bland Correctional Center. The requested equipment includes a propane-powered oven, large wedge tortilla press capable of processing wheat/corn flour blends and producing 1,800 tortillas per hour, a 36-part dough divider-rounder, dual dough trolley loader, equipment stands, a 60-inch conveyor, cleaning kit, and gas-to-LPG conversion.
