Description
Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph is requesting proposals from qualified builders to design and construct a turnkey residential home at a designated property. The scope includes site preparation, foundation, framing, roofing, exterior and interior finishes, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen and bathroom installations, possible appliance installation, basic landscaping, driveway and walkway construction, permitting, inspections, final cleanup, occupancy preparation, warranty, and post-construction support. Proposers must provide options for either a three-bedroom home of approximately 1,200–1,500 square feet with two bathrooms or a two-bedroom home of approximately 900–1,500 square feet with one bathroom. Both options require an open-concept living area, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, garage, safe room or storm shelter, and cost-effective stock materials. Proposals should include company experience, team qualifications, detailed costs for both options, schedule, subcontractors, warranty information, client references, proof of insurance and licensing, payment schedule, bid-bond availability, value-engineering suggestions, and a clear description of included and extra-cost work. Selection will consider qualifications, cost, schedule, quality, references, communication, and responsiveness.
