Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotes from small businesses for the manufacture of M26 hardware components, including caps, initiator chambers, retainer cartridges, firing pins, and firing-pin housings. The requirement includes first-article quantities of five each and production quantities of 50 each for the specified drawing revisions and exact brand requirements. The contractor must fabricate, inspect, test, package, and deliver the components in accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. Work includes cadmium plating, embrittlement-relief baking, hydrostatic testing, dimensional inspection, first-article testing, material and completion certifications, inspection-test planning, quality-system compliance, and related CDRL data. The contractor must maintain applicable ITAR or Joint Certification Program registration, CMMC Level 2 compliance, and required cybersecurity controls. Quotes must include all costs, including shipping and handling, and will be evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis.
