Description
This solicitation is for the furnishing and installation of new stair gates in stairways 1 through 6 of the University Hospital Building. The scope of work includes removing existing gates and providing new gates that will either totally enclose one flight of stairway with side panels and a roof, or just side panels and tall headers to the slab above. The new gates will be constructed from heavy commercial aluminum storefront type with panic/push bars, door closers, and crescent pull handles. The project also requires the installation of a relay for Fire alarm interface. Bidders have the option to price the project using either Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel products. The work is to be completed within 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
