Description
This project involves the fabrication, painting, and delivery of bolted Tainter Gates for the Lock and Dam 21 site. The gates are to be delivered by barge. Fabrication must adhere to AWS D1.1 standards, with no fracture-critical members in welded assemblies. The solicitation is currently a draft, with plans and specifications available for industry review. A pre-solicitation conference call will be held via Microsoft Teams on June 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Central Time. Questions regarding the draft documents are due by email to joseph.e.porter@usace.army.mil and jeffrey.r.voss@usace.army.mil no later than June 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time.
