Description
The Town of Wallingford is soliciting bids for one new, unused 2027 all-wheel-drive low-roof cargo van for its Water Division. The vehicle must meet detailed specifications, including a gas V6 engine, automatic transmission, white exterior, passenger-side sliding door, hinged rear doors, power accessories, remote keyless entry with three key fobs, rubber flooring, cargo partition, shelving, lighting, strobe lights, air conditioning, and AM/FM stereo. Bidders must provide manufacturer specifications, published EPA fuel-economy estimates, a completed compliance checklist, pricing, delivery timing, warranty information, and any deviations or exceptions. The bid includes a 2013 Chevrolet Express Van AWD with 102,000 miles as a trade-in. The awarded vendor must deliver the vehicle to the Water Division and provide the required title-related documentation. Required vehicle warranties include 36 months/36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper coverage, 60 months/60,000 miles powertrain coverage, and 60 months of unlimited-mile corrosion-perforation coverage.
