Description
The Village of Wellsville is requesting itemized estimates for improvements to a property in the Village's East Historic District. The scope includes cleaning exterior masonry using gentle preservation methods, repointing masonry with historically appropriate mortar, painting all building sides with breathable masonry paint, and installing a wood or aluminum-clad wood one-over-one window in the northwest side's currently boarded opening. Bidders may submit pricing for any or all scope elements. The bid package includes a contractor cost estimate and proposal form requiring itemized pricing for general conditions, masonry work, window installation, a 10% contingency allowance, and a total price. The selected contractor must comply with applicable state regulations and provisions associated with the New York Forward Small Project Fund.
