The U.S. Army is conducting a Sources Sought questionnaire to identify potential sources capable of providing Type I Family of All-Terrain Crane vehicle systems meeting Purchase Description AT-PRF-0001 and applicable Operational Requirements Document requirements, along with ancillary equipment and supporting system services. The requested vehicle is a diesel engine-driven, pneumatic-tired, continuously revolving, hydraulically operated all-terrain crane with a telescoping boom, designed for highway, rail, marine, and air transport. The purchase description specifies requirements including a minimum 25,000-pound lift capacity at a 24-foot radius, all-wheel drive, transportability, two operator cabs, maintenance and diagnostic capabilities, hydraulic systems, safety equipment, attachments, tools, technical documentation, certifications, and testing support. Required or contemplated attachments include sling sets, a hydraulic clamshell bucket, a concrete barrier grapple, a concrete bucket, and spreader bars. The Government is surveying the marketplace rather than soliciting binding offers; respondents may address the entire questionnaire or only applicable portions and may provide relevant product literature, manuals, sales materials, and web links.
