Description
The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) seeks an innovative solution for a workforce oral history and imagery preservation project commemorating the organization’s 60th year. The contractor must schedule and facilitate oral history conversations; audio-record and transcribe them; collect, preserve, and archive related imagery; and provide an archive of the collected materials. The solution must support TACOM headquarters and major industrial sites, with options for lower-density, extended, and overseas locations. The scope also includes meeting with command representatives to establish project vision and address challenges, developing and delivering workshops and curriculum to train command personnel in oral history collection, and creating one or more derivative products for the entire workforce, such as digital exhibits, an online archive, a print yearbook, or another innovative format. Offerors must describe organizational capacity, comparable experience, service-delivery models, quality-control measures, historical performance metrics, and a non-binding rough order of magnitude for the total project cost. The period of performance is one 12-month base year with a six-month extension option under FAR 52.217-8.
