This Special Notice provides the approved slide deck from the U.S. Army Product Manager Engineer, Maintenance, and Support Equipment Industry Day held August 18–19, 2026. The presentation discusses Army acquisition, contracting, logistics, and testing reforms; Commercial Solutions Openings and Other Transaction Authority pathways; and opportunities for industry engagement. Future capability areas include medium dozers, hydraulic excavators, the Family of Utility Support Equipment, motorized heavy graders, heavy scrapers, predictive logistics and onboard vehicle data, and robotic and autonomous construction equipment. The deck describes desired capabilities, including transportable heavy equipment, military modifications, JP-8 fuel compatibility, armor compatibility, logistics and technical-data support, testing data, resilient wireless control, and navigation in degraded or denied GPS environments. It is informational and does not itself request a proposal or quote.
