The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land Warren is issuing a presolicitation for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the supply of Gearbox Assembly, Steering, NSN 3010-01-581-5058. The steering gear has a source restriction to RH Sheppard, CAGE 78222, part number M110PPU1. Only offers from authorized distributors of RH Sheppard will be considered. The minimum 5-year quantity is 12 each and the maximum is 300 each. Packaging is Military A, inspection and acceptance is at origin, and FOB is destination. Technical data will not be available. The solicitation is expected to be released approximately August 26, 2026, and will be open for offers until approximately September 29, 2026. The solicitation will include DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. Contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system and complete online training to participate in any reverse auction.
