Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is establishing a pool of qualified firms for continuing professional engineering and related consulting services supporting gas distribution, metering, and related infrastructure. Potential assignments include strategic planning, gas load-flow modeling, system and infrastructure design, planning, studies, permitting, drafting, technical documentation, materials analysis, surveying, procurement support, project representation, project management, and construction-phase services. Work may include mains, services, pressure regulation, metering systems, emergency response, restoration, and coordination of multidisciplinary subconsultants. This is a qualifications-based selection under Florida's Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act; pricing is not requested during this phase, and selection does not guarantee any specific project or volume of work. The resulting continuing contracts may have an initial term of up to five years, with one additional one-year renewal option. Respondents must submit qualifications, references, key personnel and team information, technical approach, workload and responsiveness information, required forms and certifications, and proof of insurance or ability to obtain the required insurance.
