Description
St. Charles County seeks a contractor to design, permit, drill, construct, test, and certify one public water supply well at Sundust Preserve Dog Park. The work includes engineering and regulatory coordination; drilling and casing; pressure grouting; well development, disinfection, sampling, and laboratory testing; a pumping and recovery test; installation of pumping equipment and a pitless assembly; and well certification and closeout records. The bid is for the complete well scope, with conceptual quantities including a 1,100-foot total well depth, 560 feet of production casing and grouting, and a 15-horsepower, 230-volt pump based on a 90-gallon-per-minute duty point. The scope excludes the well house, permanent site distribution piping, permanent electrical infrastructure, and engineering for those excluded improvements. Bidders must submit three similar project references completed within the last five years and applicable contractor credentials. The prime contractor must self-perform at least 40% of the original contract work. The contract requires completion within 60 consecutive calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed; that notice may be issued within 12 months after the Notice of Award.
