Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking a contractor to perform a full inspection of four approximately 100-foot guyed antenna towers at the Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station. The work includes inspecting and, where immediately necessary, adjusting, tightening, securing, or repairing guy wires, ladders, bracing, loose fittings and connections, foundations and drainage, bent or dented pipes, and other components affecting tower safety and use. Contractor personnel must complete visitor access requirements and will be escorted while on site. The contractor must provide a complete inspection report within 30 days after the inspection, including life-cycle-management information based on the towers’ current age, official dimensions for each tower, and a photo album documenting each antenna and areas of concern. The contemplated award is a firm-fixed-price purchase order with performance from award through July 31, 2027; work is restricted to normal site hours of 0700–1530, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved.
