Description
The project requires complete campus-wide landscaping and irrigation improvements at Vista Continuation High School. The scope includes planting, automatic irrigation systems, baseball and softball field surfacing, precast concrete benches, bicycle racks, and setup and maintenance of temporary irrigation for the varsity baseball field. Prequalification is required for the prime contractor and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors. Prospective bidders must submit the Owner-provided prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than ten business days before the public bid opening and must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days before bid opening. Specifications and addenda are available for download; printed bid documents are available from Blueprint Services Company if electronic copies cannot be downloaded or printed. The project is a lump-sum public works bid with an estimated value of $1,992,253.99, a 490-calendar-day duration, a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment and performance bonds, and a three percent DVBE participation goal or documented good-faith effort.
