Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Military Affairs is soliciting construction services for interior renovations at the Prestonsburg Readiness Center. The work includes replacing all exterior doors and the front entry system with a blast-rated system; renovating shower-room plumbing; installing new plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and a recirculating hot-water system; and replacing below-slab cast-iron sanitary piping. Mechanical work includes replacing DX split systems, installing restroom exhaust systems, replacing Drill Hall radiant heaters, and upgrading the building automation system. Electrical and technology work includes installing LED light fixtures with occupancy-sensor controls throughout the building, relocating the IT room, and installing new data cabling. The bid must include a $75,000 allowance for HVAC building-automation controls provided by EMCOR Services. The entire Official Bid Document and any required Bid Bond must be combined into one PDF and uploaded with the electronic bid.
