Description
The City of Pikeville is seeking a qualified consultant for an on-call professional services contract supporting a broad range of infrastructure and public improvement projects. Potential assignments include roadway, sidewalk, streetscape, structural, building, architectural, site, water and sewer, utility, geotechnical, environmental, transportation planning, land surveying, right-of-way, construction document preparation, construction administration, construction inspection, project management, grant application writing, and related services. Work may involve projects funded with local, state, or federal funds and may include public meetings, presentations, and preparation of materials for public consumption. The procurement uses qualifications-based selection; proposers must not submit pricing or hourly rates. Respondents must demonstrate the required Kentucky Transportation Cabinet prequalifications, provide an organizational chart and personnel experience, identify self-performed and subcontracted services, describe similar project experience, safety practices, grant experience, workload capacity, and knowledge of the locality. The initial contract term may not exceed two years, with one renewal term of up to two additional years, for a maximum duration of four years. The City does not guarantee any minimum amount of work.
