Description
The College of Southern Nevada, through the Nevada System of Higher Education, is requesting bids for a turnkey central plant improvement project at its West Charleston Building E facility. The work includes removing an existing 180-ton chiller, cooling tower, pumps, heat exchanger, associated piping, supports, and chemical treatment equipment; installing two new 180-ton air-cooled Smardt chillers or approved equals, chilled-water pumps with variable-frequency drives, piping, valves, controls, electrical connections, structural supports, and related infrastructure; and integrating the new equipment with the existing Schneider Electric building management system. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, commissioning, startup by manufacturer-qualified representatives, cleanup, and final documentation. Construction is anticipated to begin October 1, 2027, with completion required within 120 days. The estimated project cost is $900,000. The project is subject to Nevada public-works requirements, including prevailing wages, Nevada contractor licensing, a 5% bid bond, and 100% payment and performance bonds after award. Bids must be submitted through the Nevada Gov eMarketplace portal.
