Description
The City of Cheyenne is soliciting bids for construction improvements along Van Buren Avenue. The work includes installation of a new 12-inch water main with valves, fittings, and a fire hydrant assembly; storm drainage improvements; asphalt and fencing removal; excavation, backfill, and erosion control; traffic control and flagging; and restoration with asphalt, concrete, combined curb and gutter, landscaping, riprap, and signage. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's eProcurement Portal. The solicitation requires a 5% bid guarantee, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the accepted bid, along with required insurance documentation. The project includes a 20-consecutive-working-day window for work affecting the intersection of Van Buren Avenue and Rock Springs Street and has a final completion date of April 30, 2027.
