Description
The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking one heated aqueous parts washer and one high-pressure automatic parts washer. The heated unit must include a flexible pressurized cleaning spout, heated solution, polysateen drain filter, polyethylene tub, integral oil skimmer, low-solution warning indicator, and specified environmental certifications. The automatic unit must use a 45 PSI heated soap solution delivered through 20 high-pressure nozzles at 40 GPM, clean engine blocks and other parts, provide an adjustable 0–60-minute cycle, include a 5 RPM turntable, oil skimmer, filtration system, and 25 pounds of biodegradable soap concentrate, and have rugged 12-gauge steel construction. Bidders must quote both line items as a group and provide unit and total pricing, delivery time in working days, and the best warranty period. Products must be new and current-year models unless otherwise indicated, and operating manuals must be furnished. The minimum warranty is six months. The solicitation permits equal products if they are clearly identified and supported by descriptive literature. Paper quotes are not accepted; responses must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth eProcurement system. Proof of required insurance is due before award, not with the initial quote.
