Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking multiple contractors to provide Broadband Connectivity Continuation and Expansion cabling services and/or Internet Protocol video surveillance systems at correctional facilities across Texas. The scope includes labor, materials, fiber-optic and copper cabling, trenching and conduit work, installation, testing, network equipment, cameras, servers, software, training, maintenance, support, and warranty services. Respondents may offer BCCE cabling services, VSS services, or both. The solicitation requires detailed technical responses, pricing schedules and budget narratives, certifications, financial statements, a subcontracting plan, signed required contract clauses, service agreements if applicable, and compliance statements. The VSS scope includes replacement of existing analog systems with comprehensive IP video surveillance systems, including cameras, video management software, recording and storage infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, on-site training, and ongoing support. Multiple firm-fixed-price contracts are anticipated.
