Description
New Mexico State University seeks one or more contractors to clean exhaust hood systems at ten facilities. Work includes cleaning hoods, ducts, troughs, drip pans, plenums, screens, baffles, and roof fan units down to bare metal, while protecting surrounding areas and avoiding damage or service interruptions. Contractors must provide labor, equipment, and cleaning supplies, including specialized tools for ductwork, and perform cleaning during shutdown or after hours in accordance with NFPA 96, manufacturer instructions, and applicable codes. The scope includes recurring cleaning at listed locations and frequencies, emergency response within four hours, and service reports with before-and-after photographs. Respondents must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide at least three comparable project examples and references, and describe staffing, equipment, and emergency response capability. Pricing is requested for each location. The agreement has a four-year initial term with up to six annual renewals, for a maximum total term of ten years.
