Description
Escambia County, Florida, is soliciting bids for roadway resurfacing and safety improvements along West Highway 4 (CR 4). The project involves base repair, milling, and the installation of a 2" FDOT SP 12.5 76-22 overlay. It also includes guardrail upgrades and new installations. The project is divided into five bid alternates: four for resurfacing work and one for guardrail improvements. Escambia County reserves the right to reduce the scope of work due to funding limitations. Fifty percent of the milling will be retained by the Escambia County Road Department, with the contractor coordinating pickup and providing trucks.
