Wayne County is soliciting competitive offers for replacement dining furniture at the Wayne County Nursing Home. The solicitation calls for 216 dining armchairs with front casters and 84 square tabletops: 48 measuring 42 by 42 inches and 36 measuring 36 by 36 inches. Chairs must be suitable for a healthcare environment, include upholstered healthcare-grade stain-resistant seating, armrests, stackability, a 350-pound capacity, and specified dimensional and safety standards. Tabletops must be durable, rounded-edge, spill-retainer, bored, compatible with existing table bases, and resistant to scratches, heat, and moisture, with specified laminate and low-emission standards. The vendor must provide samples upon request, relevant manufacturer manuals, a minimum five-year warranty, a maintenance guide, and delivery within 60 days of the purchase order. Chairs must be delivered assembled or assembled at the facility; assembly and delivery fees are separately identified in the bid schedule. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of healthcare-furniture experience and provide three similar-project references, including projects completed within the last three years.
