Description
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) intends to award multiple requirement contracts for the installation of vinyl composite (V/C) floor tile in apartments across several developments in Brooklyn. These developments include Carey Consolidated Houses, Marlboro Houses, O'Dwyer/Gravesend/CI-Site 8 Houses, Surfside/Coney Island/CI Site 4&5, Glenwood Houses, Sheepshead/Nostrand, Breukelen Houses, Cypress Hills/East NYC Line, Pink Houses, and Vandalia Houses, located within Brooklyn Neighborhoods (BK01), (BK02), and (BK03). The contract term is for three years from the award date or notice to proceed, with NYCHA holding the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods. NYCHA plans to award only one contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the first step. If other contracts remain unawarded, NYCHA may award additional contracts in a second step. This solicitation is subject to Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Schedule requirements. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor. Pre-qualification as an "Approved Supplier via NYCHA-Tile Pre-Qualification List (PQL)" is required. Section 3 REO & OEO Plans must be submitted via eComply by the bid submission deadline.
